Today is reveal day for the Simon Says Stamp June Card Kit: Leafy Frames and it's a beauty! Here it is (all components are shown at the beginning of my supply list):
Here's the card I'm sharing today:
I made a notecard with some of the Neenah Desert Storm Cardstock and stamped the floral frame from Simon's Leafy Frames Stamp Set on it with their White Pigment Ink. Once dry I coloured it in with Prismacolor Coloured Pencils. I then adhered one of the Carta Bella Botanical Garden Frames and Tags which fit inside the stamped frame perfectly. Finally, I added some dots of Gina K Connect Glue and covered them with Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter to make my own subtle embellishments.

ReplyDeleteThis kit has gorgeous printed papers. I love that you used the tag as your focal point and kraft cardstock for the base. I think kraft cardstock really makes a card stand out. I have been trying to use it more in my cards.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Your coloring on kraft is so pretty! I always think I want to try that when I'm looking at different blogs, but when I go in my craft room the idea never comes to me. I need to try this because I love how pretty it is!
