Wee Memories Challenge #45


Hi everyone!

I'm back for my final week as guest designer for Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday challenge. It's been a blast! Thanks to Jenny for inviting me to play along and to Jinny for keeping me on track. :)

This week's challenge is "United We Stamp" for Operation Write Home and is sponsored by Unity Stamp Co. Such a great cause and one that will hit home for me soon enough as my brother-in-law will be headed to Iraq in the summer.




 The winner of this week's challenge will receive a stamp set from Unity Stamp Co.!! The deadline for this challenge is Friday, March 4, 2011 @ 11:59 pm PST. I do hope you'll pull out your stamps, play along with us and also support Operation Write Home. (Please note: Don't send in cards with glitter as it can make the soldiers detectable.)

Here's the card I made for this week's challenge:


 I used Hero Arts Envelope Pattern for the background, some older My Mind's Eye patterned paper and a couple more new Hero Arts stamps (Dictionary Greeting and Type). The sentiment is computer generated.

    This cards is AWESOME, Sarah! I love the layers and combination of patterns. And I love how you embellished and 'blinged-up' the typewriter in such a masculine way. Love, love, love!! I will be bookmarking this for future 'guy-card' inspiration. Thanks!
