Simon Says Stamp's July Card Kit & a GIVEAWAY

Hi everyone,

I'm back today to share a couple of cards I made using the brand new Simon Says Stamp Card Kit (for July). This month's kit is just fabulous and features an incredible stamp set created by Kristina Werner. I LOVE her hand writing and think a future stamp set with all occasion messages would be totally awesome. *hint hint Heidi and Kristina* ;)

Anyways, here are the first 2 cards I've made with this kit. I really wanted to use one of the fun kraft envelops that came with the kit on a standard sized card so I cut it down in size and folded/adhered the bottom edge so I'd still have a pocket... I think it would be fun to write a personal note to the recipient (my hubby perhaps) about why they are so wonderfully special and include it in the envelope. :)

For the second card I took the left over bottom piece of the kraft envelop and finished up the top to make a new flap before sticking it on a 4.25" square card. Again, I think it would be fun to write a person message and put it in the envelope. (The black/white twine is from the June Card Kit).

Once again the wonderful Heidi of Simon Says Stamp has given me a kit to pass on! Whoot whoot! :)
Just leave a comment on this post by next Wednesday the 20th at mid-night and I'll pick a winner.

Also don't forget that I have a giveaway going on HERE that ends at the end of the month. All you have to do is follow me and leave a comment on that post. :)

As always, that's for popping by!

Sarah

  4. What an innovative way to use the envelopes for an extra little message or sentiment. These are going into my CASE-IT file I'm a big fan of Kristina's handwriting, too (and her cards). I'd love to see a set or 10 of sentiments in her handwriting. We can hope, can't we?
