Simon Says Stamp: Eerie Pinterest Board Challenge

Hi everyone,

I'm back with another Simon Says Stamp Challenge!!!


Today's challenge is an inspiration challenge based on this Eerie Pinterest Board our own Joy Taylor came up with:

I LOVE that house! :) This week the design team is using products from American Crafts. For my card, I took inspiration from the colors found in the candies. My choice of background paper was inspired by the vintage dress pattern paper in the bottom left corner.

Here`s my card:


I colored some of the American Craft/ Amy Tangerine fabric stickers with distress inks (the solid black which was cut in half and used in two areas and also the purple floral piece) to better go with my color combination.

    Love your idea of using a "newspaper" backdrop, Sarah, and then adding the bright splashes of color from the board!

    We're not really into Halloween here, so when my last PaperCraft came in the mail, I was not overly excited. But seeing how you carefully picked certain elements of the Eerie pin board and made an amazing, fun card has so inspired me to pick up my magazine again and be inspired - despite the ghouls and goblins :) LOVE this card! Such a great, unexpected colour combo (looks even better than the candies!!) and amazing design. Thanks for sharing, Sarah!
