Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit (Friendship Flowers)

Hi everyone!

I hope you've been having a great week! It's time for me to start sharing some projects I've made using the Simon Says Stamp March 2013 Card Kit (Friendship Flowers). I usually plan to share all my projects in one week but I'm just so excited about March's kit that I couldn't wait until Monday to get started. ;)

This month's kit is FABULOUS! I love that the colours shout SPRING to me. (Anyone else done with winter)? ;) Kristina Werner has come up with a wonderful stamp set called 'Flower Friend' for this kit. I love the sweet font of the greetings and the flowers and leaves in this set are so pretty. The kit also includes some happy Lawn Fawn papers and stickers, some washi tape, cute paper straws, etc. I've made a couple of fun projects for next Friday, March 1st using the straws so be sure stop by for that. ;)

Here's my first card using the Friendship Flowers Card Kit:

I was inspired by the rainbow of colors in the patterned papers. :) The little kraft bag from the kit is the perfect size for a gift card or to tuck in a note that can't be contained in a card.

Here are the links to the products I used to make this card (the 1st 5 are included in the kit but can also be purchased separately):

Sweet Heidi (owner of SimonSaysStamp.com) is giving me an extra March Card Kit: Friendship Flowers to give away to one of my blog readers. Yay! All you need to do is post a comment on any of my card kit posts over the next week and I'll randomly draw and announce a winner Monday, March 4th. (I'll be posting more card kit projects next Monday, Thursday, and Friday). :)

Before I go I just want to mention that I've added a pinning button for Pinterest to my posts for those of you who like to save projects there. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Sarah

Can't wait for your projects with the straws. I have a couple of them at hand so want to incorporate them into something else then cupcake toppers and personalized party straws.

TFS and have a nice weekend!

  13. Awesome card Sarah! I love the colours in this kit.

I am Krista Ritskes' aunt. She told me that you were on a design team but I wasn't sure which one it was until now. I have taken classes with Krista and between her, an SU demonstrator and the internet my card making skills have improved immensely!

  17. It's so cute. What a great way to use some favorite papers or scraps. I wish I could afford the SSS kits. I love how you used the envelope too, a great place for a gift card or a little note. I have a fun little $1.00 stamp that is a coupon for a hug. Redeemable at any time. ;) Thanks for a chance to win this kit.
