Simon Says Stamp Summer Release Blog Hop!! ...and a GIVEAWAY!

Hi everyone!




Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp Summer Release Blog Hop! (You should be arriving from the super sweet Lorraine (Lols) Aquilina's blog). I am so excited to be participating! Simon and his crew of talent have hit it out of the ball park with this release!


Wowzers, right!?!? Lots of new favourites for me and I used just a few of them for today's hop. :)

Let's get started... I LOVE this little skunk and just had to make 'her' all pink and flowery. I thought the Sunshine die behind her (cut out of the note card and backed with patterned paper) helped draw the eye to the sweet little stinker. ;)


Supplies:


For this next card I used the new Simon Says Stamp Flat Bottom Clouds die to cut out a rainbow of colors. I thought they looked like fun funky scallops when placed upside down... and the sentiment is a combination of two from the new Inside and Out Sayings stamp set.

My final card uses possibly my very favourite item from this new release, the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Full Card Hexagons die. A few days before these goodies found their way to my house I came across THIS BLOG POST with these pictures...

 


...and I was totally inspired to make this:




I used the Two Tier Folded Banner die, but shortened it to make a one tier banner.

    All of your cards are gorgeous!!! After I leave this comment, I'm becoming a follower because I love your style. My fave of the three is the skunk card, probably because I call things "stinkin' cute" all of the time and the paper pieced skunk is just that!
