Gifts With Batteries (& GIVEAWAY)

Hi everyone!

I'm back to share yet another card using the Simon Says Stamp December Card Kit: Warm Holiday Wishes.

I was trying to figure out how I could use the battery stamp from the Big Holiday Wishes set that is included with this month's kit in a festive way. This is what I came up with...

... So what do you think? Does it look like a wreath? After stamping and paper piecing the batteries. I covered them with glossy accents to give them so shine. Once I got my wreath together I added some sequins and a bow (also from the stamp set).

Supplies:

Just a reminder that you can purchase this kit HERE at Simon Says Stamp for $24.95. The Simon Says Stamp monthly kits have been selling out so if you're interested you'll want to be quick! 1. SO cute! I don't know if I get a wreath, per se, but it all goes SO well with the sentiment, and the little bow and sequins make it all so festive!

  15. I may have added another battery or three to the wreath, but I could see it. Really cute. I remember Santa bringing gifts and forgetting the batteries. That was in the old days when all the stores were closed on Christmas.

  19. hehe, I love the sentiment! Kids pressies should always come with batteries, and pliers, and a screwdriver!! Takes forever to get some toys free from their packaging :) lol

  20. Very cute and creative! I think the batteries are great and the bow makes it look more like a wreath! Love the sentiment! Batteries aren't even the problem anymore...it's trying to get the item out of the box...you need a power tool to get them out!!!! Thanks for sharing your creativity!

  21. Yes, I could tell immediately that it was a wreath, although I might have used an odd number of batteries to make it a bit "rounder". What a fun way to use that stamp though!

  26. Such a creative card! You can definitely tell it's a wreath, although maybe if you use 5 batteries instead of 4 it might work better.

  27. What a neat card. My mom always bought an extra round of batteries for the gifts that my kids got and it was such a relief. LOL Because they could play right away and one more time with new batteries.
