Simon Says Stamp October Card Kit: Nuts About You (& GIVEAWAYS)!

Hi everyone!

I'm back to share a final card made using the Simon Says Stamp October 2016 Card Kit and to remind you about a couple of giveaways I have going on.
Here's today's card:


For this card I stamped a bunch of the small images from Simon's Nutty Over You Stamps onto their Burnt Orange Cardstock with the cube of Ranger's Bright Tangelo Archival Ink to create a tone on tone effect. I die cut a heart using one of Simon's Nested Hearts Dies and stamped the sentiment and the large squirrel. I then stamped the same squirrel onto a larger solid stamp to create a mirror image before stamping it onto my card. It was difficult to get a good impression with the squirrel being solid so I coloured both squirrels with a Warm Gray Copic Marker. I then stamped some greenery and berries and gave the squirrels a Little B Acorns Mini Sticker to share. I finished the card off with strips of Simon's Dark Chocolate Cardstock and Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Fall 6x6 Paper.

    Too dang cute for words! Great background paper using the stamps. Gotta love the addition of the plaid paper. Such a pretty font on the sentiment stamps, too. The foliage stamps are definitely versatile for just about any time of year.
