Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Party!

Hi everyone!

The Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Release went live yesterday and today we're having a party to celebrate! Visit the Simon Says Stamp Blog for all the details!

In case you've missed it, here's the full release:

Yesterday I shared this card using the beautiful new Ornate Ornaments Stamp Set:

Today I'm sharing another card featuring the Ornate Ornaments Stamp Set. For this card I created an alcohol ink background. Once dry, I white heat embossed some of the ornaments before die cutting them with the coordinating dies. My notecard was covered with a piece of Audrey Blue Cardstock. I then took a smaller piece of Surf Blue Cardstock and covered it with green cardstock cut with Simon's Pine Needle Trio Dies. I covered this panel with Simon's Vellum to soften the look, hiding the adhesive behind where the ornaments and sentiment were going to be. Once matted with white cardstock, I adhered this piece to my card. The sentiment was white heat embossed on Simons's Black Cardstock and I finished the card off with Simon's Moonshine Confetti

  11. I love them both equally. The circle ornament just screams use sequins, gems, crystal drops, etc. The others are perfect with the alcohol ink because they look just like the glass of yesteryear. I have a thing for ornaments and was hoping to choose between the two sets...that is getting harder and harder to not want both.

  45. Okay, I have to have this ornament set! The ones with the sequins are just so a-maz-ing! I have to do a few like that when I get that set. The others you embossed which is so cool & I could just outline them with glitter gel pens too! Oh my gosh, you came up with so many ways to use that set & so many ways for me to use them. Now I just need to get this set so I can get creative with my sequins, gel pens & embossing powders. Thank. you for showing your sparkly card!
