Special Gift Card & New Hero Arts Stamps

Hi everyone,

I'm stopping by tonight to share a card I'm pretty sure I haven't posted yet. I've been going through my photoshop album, tagging cards, putting them into different categories and just getting a little more organized. I'm feeling that way about my house too. My family better watch out. Hee hee. :)

Here's my card:

Here's my supply list:

While I'm here I've gotta ask: have you seen the new Hero Arts 2013 release? So many gorgeous stamps and some great new inks too!

Here are the ones I've added to my wishlist:

Can you tell I have a weakness for background stamps? ;) I'd love to know which new stamps are your favourites.

Hope you all have a great weekend! We're celebrating Christmas 10 days early with my family while my brother is still in the province. :)

Flowers & Butterflies Gift Set & NEW SIMON SAYS STAMP GRATITUDE BLOG HOP WINNER

Hi everyone,

That's along post title isn't it.? Hee hee.

Anyways, I back first to pick a new winner of the Simon Says Stamp Gratitude Blog Hop donation.
The new winner is:

Blogger Michelle who said...

GORGEOUS cards Sarah. I am most grateful this year for my friends. Whom without them I truly don't know where I would be.

Congrats, Michelle! Please get in touch with me so I can get you set up with Simon Says Stamp! :)

I thought I'd also take this opportunity to share a card set I made recently. I'm planning on making a few sets as gifts for Christmas and such.

Here it is:

Look familiar? I used the same design as the snowfIake card in my previous post. I think it's pretty self explanatory. Once I embossed the swirls I went over with the sander to reveal the white core. I also used shredded paper at the bottom of my clear box so the cards would sit above the label and be seen in their entirety. If you have any questions feel free to send me a quick message. :)

Beautiful cards! I am so grateful for my family. I am the oldest of nine, so my family is quite large. We lost our mom in June, so I'm so thankful we will be together to get through the holidays.

If anyone knows Pam could you please make her aware of her win? Thank you!

Paper Crafts Die Cutting for Paper Crafters share and SSS December Card Kit Winner

Hi everyone!

Popping in quickly today to share a card I have published in a current special issue put out by Paper Crafts (as well as the winner of the Simon Says Stamp December Card Kit). The issue is called Die Cutting for Paper Crafters and it ROCKS!!! I squealed when the call came out for this one and made a record 30+ cards. I was a little disappointed to only have 3 cards picked up but after the issue came out I could see why. ;) So many amazing projects!

Here's one of the cards I have in the issue:

I adhered strips of May Arts chevron ribbon to a piece of cardstock and ran it through my die cut machine with the Tim Holtz mini heart die sitting inside the label die. Some buttons and a fun sentiment finish it off.

Here's what I used (the Yellow and purple buttons are from Basic Grey and the red is unknown):

And now for the winner of the Simon Says Stamp December Card Kit.
Random Org has picked....
