Kathy's 30 Day Colouring Challenge Blog Hop

Hi everyone!

Welcome to Kathy's 30 Day Colouring Challenge Blog Hop featuring some of the Hero Hostess Alumni along with some special guests! 


Kathy Racoosin from The Daily Marker loves to colour and she is currently hosting her fifth 30 DAY COLOURING CHALLENGE. The premise of the challenge is to colour something everyday (even if it’s for five minutes). It doesn’t matter what you colour or what medium you use. Just have fun! Here's the card I created for today's blog hop:


This next picture shows all the beautiful golden shine:


To make this card I gold heat embossed the Hero Arts Everything Flower Background Stamp on Canson XL Watercolor Paper and coloured it in with Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolors. I gold heat embossed the sentiment from Hero Arts Acts of Kindness Stamp Set on some Neenah Solar White Cardstock and added a strip of gold foil cardstock from DCWV to the bottom before adhering the sentiment to the dried watercolor panel. I die cut the panel using the largest of Simon Says Stamp's Stitched Rectangles Dies and adhered it to my notecard. I finished it off with some beautiful sequins from Lucy Abrams.

Simon Says Stamp Rainbow Stars Birthday Card

Hi everyone!

I'm stopping by today to share a card made using Simon's fun new Stacked Stars Die and a bunch of Copic Markers.


I die cut the Stacked Stars Die from Neenah Solar White Cardstock and coloured the center pieces in with a rainbow of Copic Markers. I then pieced the diecut together on a panel of Simon's Slate Gray Cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from Simon's Big Birthday Wishes Stamp Set onto Smoke Cardstock and adhered it to the card with Foam Tape.

Simon Says Stamp You Are Awesome Card

Hi everyone!

I'm popping by today to share a card made using the fun new Build a Rainbow Die Set from Simon Says Stamp's Among the Stars Release. I thought I'd use the rainbow pieces to make a fun circle. 


 I die cut the rainbow from Neenah Solar White Cardstock and coloured the individual pieces with Copic Markers before adhering them to my card. I added a Hero Arts Button to the center and stamped a bold sentiment from Simon's Big Scripty Greetings Stamp Set.
