Happy Simon Says Stamp July 2014 Card Kit Release Day! How's that for mouthful? :)
I couldn't believe it when I opened my fun little brown box this month... There is just SO much inside, including a full-sized Simon Says Stamp Lipstick Red ink pad! Wow! Take a look:

Here are the first 2 cards I'm sharing using the July 2014 Card Kit: Sending Happy Mail. I absolutely LOVE the font of the cursive sentiments. I think a new Simon Says Stamp sentiment stamp set is in order, don't you? ;)
Card #1:
For my first card I heat embossed the sentiment with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder. I then used the Simon Says Stamp Lipstick Red ink along with some water on my craft sheet to make a watercolor to paint on the card. I heat set it before flicking some of the 'paint' with my paint brush. I then used the heart stamps (again with the Lipstick Red ink), adding some Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Marker and Glossy Accents after. Finally, I cut some of the chevron washi tape into a thinner strip and used it to ground my sentiment a bit.

Card #2:
For my second card, I die cut the Simon Says Stamp Flag Card Die from 2 of the Pink Paislee Pen Pals papers and adhered them to the card. I then white heat embossed another fabulous sentiment from the set before adding some of the cute Pink Paislee Pen Pals Puffy Stickers. This was such a quick and easy card to make. :)
