Hero Arts Hostess 2014 Catalog Blog Hop!!!

Hi everyone,

I'm excited to be back today as part of the Hero Arts Hostess 2014 Catalog Blog Hop!

I'm always thrilled to be a part of anything involving Hero Arts. The Hero Arts Club Blog was my first real introduction to artistic card making and I have learned SO much from the wonderful Hero Artists over the years. Not only is Hero Arts full of talent (whether it be the stamp designers or the design team) but they are also extremely kind and generous and I'm so thankful to be able to call a number of the Hero Arts family members my friends.

Okay, enough of the mushy stuff. ;) If you've been following along the blog hop you should be arriving from sweet and talented Nancy Krueger's blog. If this is your first stop today you'll want to start at the Hero Arts Club Blog. If you find a broken link, you'll find a master list of the hop links at the Hero Arts Club Blog. Also, please report broken links to: blog@heroarts.com.

I made 2 cards for today's hop. Here's my first card using the black heat embossed Zebra Print background stamp along with Inktense watercolor pencils and a Wink of Stella clear glitter marker. The gorgeous sentiment is from the new Messages with Flourish clear stamp set.

Here's a close up to give you an idea of just how shiny and glittery this is...

Supplies:

For my second card I used the Zebra Print background once again, this time pairing it with its cousin the Leopard Print background. I did some tone on tone stamping with each one to create a baby card that I thought would be great for either boy/girl twins or in the case where you don't know whether the baby is a boy or girl yet. I'm loving this Congrats! sentiment font which is found in the new Yay! clear stamp set.

Supplies:

Before I go I've got to let you know that Hero Arts will be awarding prizes from randomly drawn comments. For a chance to win, simply comment on ANY of the stops along the hop on ANY day, including each day’s starting post at the Hero Club Blog. The more comments you leave, the better your chance of winning!

That's it for me! Your next stop is the wonderful Kathy Wade's blog!
Thanks for stopping by!
Sarah
