SSS Banner Patterned Background & February Card Kit Winner

Hi everyone!

I'm popping by to share a masculine birthday card I made using the Simon Says Stamp Nested Banner Die Set, Holiday Shapes DiesLarge Holiday Shapes Dies, and their Jumbo Stripes Stamp Set. I'll also be announcing the winner of the Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit.

For today's card I went through my stash of cardstock scraps and pulled out a bunch of blues and greens. I die cut them with one of the slanted banner dies and adhered them to a notecard made from Neenah White Cardstock to create a background. I stamped my sentiment on one of the banners and adhered it with foam tape. Finally, I die cut some stars, adhered them to my card, and covered them with Glossy Accents

SSS February Card Kit: Love You Always

Hi everyone,

I'm popping by to share a final card featuring the Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit:

For today's card I diecut a piece of the Authentique Romance Paper with one of Simon's Stitched Rectangle Dies. I adhered this to one of the black notecards included in the kit. I diecut another one of the black notecards with one of Simon's Nested Heart Dies and white heat embossed the 'love you always' sentiment from the Love Always Stamp Set.  After adding this to my card I stamped a few of the small hearts around it and stitched some embellishments with the We R Memory Keepers Red Floss.

SSS February Card Kit: Spotlighting Love You, GIVEAWAY, and a great SALE!

Hi everyone!

I'm back with another card to share featuring the beautiful Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit.

Here it is:

For today's card I stamped the beautiful larger floral image on a piece of Simon Says Stamp Ivory Cardstock with MFT Black Licorice Hybrid Ink since I was going to use Copic Markers for my colouring. I then positioned my LOVE letters from Simon's Ornate Love Die Set over top and ran this through my Big Shot. I removed the letters and coloured them in before piecing the panel back together again on top of some of the Authentique Romance 6x6 Papers from the Card Kit. I finished the card off by partially stamping one of the sentiments from the Love Always Stamp Set for the 'YOU'.

SSS February Card Kit & GIVEAWAY!

Hi everyone!

Guess what? My Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit finally arrived yesterday! Whoot whoot! I'm not sure if the wait was due to the postal strike we had here in Canada last month or the government shut down in the US but this beauty was worth the wait.

Here's a look at what's included:

The images and sentiments in this month's stamp set: Love Always are just beautiful and I knew right away I wanted to do something with the sweet little birdie.

I decided to heat emboss it multiple times on Simon's Doll Pink Cardstock with the SSS Clear Embossing Powder that came in the kit, creating a Toile-like background. I added this piece to a notecard made from Simon's Cotton Candy Cardstock, poked a small hole at the top where the two papers meet, and threaded some of the We R Memory Keepers Red Floss through it a number of times, finishing it off with a bow. I white heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of the black notecard and adhered it to the card with foam tape. Finally, I finished the card off with some Glossy Accents.

SSS Glittery I Love You Card

Hi everyone!

I'm popping by to share a card featuring some goodies from the Simon Says Stamp You Are Loved Release. For this card I used the SSS All My Heart Stencil along with the SSS Ornate Love Dies. I die cut a piece of  Simon's Cotton Candy Cardstock with the rectangle from the Bundle of Stitches Die Set. I used the SSS All My Heart Stencil with Ranger Texture Paste to cover the front of the stitched rectangle and added some glitter on top. Once dry, I mounted the panel on a piece of Simon's Red Lipstick Cardstock before adhering it to a notecard made from Neenah White Cardstock. I die cut 'Love You' from Simon's Ornate Love Dies, added some hearts from Lucy's Unicorn Crush Shaker Mix where the holes in the letters would be, and finished things off with some Doodlebug Heart Sprinkles.

SSS Love You Fur-Ever Card

Hi everyone,

Happy New Year!

I thought it would be cute to pair the two cats together as a mother and child for my daughter who loves our black cat Midnight. I adhered them to a piece of patterned paper I had in my stash that was die cut with one of Simon's Stitched Rectangle Dies before adhering the panel to a piece of light pink cardstock. I put it on the front of a notecard made from Neenah White Cardstock. Finally I added a sentiment from Simon's Punny Animals Stamp Set die cut with one of Simon's Nesterd Banners Dies.
