Simon Says Stamp July Card Kit Reveal & GIVEAWAY!

Hi everyone!

Today is reveal day for the Simon Says Stamp July Card Kit: Bee Yourself! As you can guess from the name the theme of this month's kit is bees...and it is adorable! This kit is loaded with lots of fun products: a 6x8 stamp set, die, sequins, foilable cards and foil sheets, Honey Bee Stamps patterned papers, 4 sheets of Simon's own cardstock, an envelope, and a glue sponge (I've been wanting to try this out)!

Here's the card I'm sharing today:

For this card I white heat embossed the sentiment and white heat embossed the bee-made heart repeatedly. I then applied Abandoned Coral and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Inks with an ink blending tool to cover the panel. I used a Sponge Dauber with Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink to fill in the hearts before trimming the panel down to 5"x 3.75". I adhered it to a piece of Simon's Black Cardstock before adding to the front of a notecard I made from Simon's 120 lb white cardstock. I finished the card off with some sequins from Simon's Buzzy Bee Sequin Mix.

Simon Says Stamp Rest and Refresh Release

Hi everyone,

Today is reveal day for the Simon Says Stamp Rest and Refresh Release

I'm spying a lot of summer relaxation and encouragement-themed stamps, dies, prints, stencils, and sequins here! I know many of us could really use some of both right now.

I used the new Filigree Flower Die to make today's card, inspired by a hexagon blanket I'm currently crocheting.

Here's my inspiration:

...and here's my card:

I diecut the flower 7 times on a piece of Neenah White Cardstock, removed all the little bits, and backed each flower with a different colour of Simon Says Stamp Cardstock which I diecut with one of Simon's Nested Cricles Dies. I adhered the panel to a notecard before diecutting a SSS Nested Banner Die and SSS Hooray sentiment to add to my card along with some sequins from Little Things by Lucy's Cards.

SSS 45th Anniversary Card & June Card Kit Winner

Hi everyone!

I'm stopping by to share an oversized card I made for my inlaws to celebrate their 45th anniversary and to announce the winner of the Simon Says Stamp June Card Kit: Leafy Frames

My husband is the oldest of 8 and with spouses and kids there were about 30 names going into this card, hence the size. ;) Since the card was traveling across North America and Europe to gather signatures I decided not to add any embellishments.

I stamped the large floral image from Simon's Sketched Flowers Stamp Set on Neenah Desert Storm Cardstock with Simon's White Pigment Ink. Once dry, I coloured it in with Prismacolor Pencils in my inlaws wedding colours (sapphire also happens to be the colour for 45th anniversaries)! The sentiment is from Simon's Congratulations Stamp Set and was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink before being heat embossed with Simon's Clear Embossing Powder. Finally, I added the stamped panel to an oversized notecard made from Neenah 110 LB White Cardstock (sorry, I don't remember the finished size).

I like the way you used the paper flowers on this card, Sarah! I would never have thought to use a bunch of them on a card.

SSS June Card Kit: Sending Birthday Joy

Hi everyone!

I'm popping by to share a final card featuring the lovely Simon Says Stamp June Card Kit: Leafy Frames.

I really wanted to showcase the Kaisercraft Coconut Mini Paper Blooms on this card so I paired it with some of the Carta Bella Botanical Garden 6x6 Paper and a sentiment from Simon's Leafy Frames Stamp Set. I added some of the Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter to the 'handle' of the bouquet and also the tips of the flowers (which is hard to see in the picture).

SSS June 2019 Card Kit: 3 Card Set & GIVEAWAY!

Hi everyone!

I'm back today to share a set of cards I made featuring the Simon Says Stamp June Card Kit: Leafy Frames.

For these cards I made my bases with Simon's Green Leaf, Neenah Desert Storm, and Simon's Cotton Candy Cardstocks. About midway up each card I stamped the floral border from the Leafy Frames Stamp Set with VersaMark Ink. I added coordinating pieces of Carta Bella Botanical Garden 6x6 Patterned Paper to the bottoms and strips of solid paper between them and the stamping. Next I added one of the Carta Bella Botanical Garden Frames and Tags to each card and finished them off with dots of Gina K Connect Glue covered with Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter.

SSS Sweet Friendship Blossoms

Hi everyone,

I'm popping by to share a card made using the gorgeous Simon Says Stamp Blossoming Stamp Set.
This stunning tree stamp really doesn't need any help to shine. I stamped it on some Neenah Solar White Cardstock, coloured the entire panel (including the background) with Copic Markers, and added some Sherbet Shimmer Nuvo drop to the flower centers. The white heat embossed sentiment is from Simon's Tiny Words Faith Stamp Set. All of the supplies used are linked to at the end of this post.

SSS Our Redeemer Lives & May Card Kit Winner

Hi everyone!

I wanted to stop in today to wish you all a Happy Easter! My prayer today is that you all know just how great God's love for you is and that you recognize your need for Him. God is good!

I thought I'd share this Easter card today featuring a few products from Simon Says Stamp and also announce the winner of the Simon Says Stamp May Card Kit.

I decided to pair Simon's Outline Floral Cross Die with their Outline Floral Frame Die diecutting both from Simon's Audrey Blue Cardstock, and the cross again from Neenah White Cardstock. The two dies fit almost perfectly together. The only adjustments I had to make were removing a circle from the right side of the cross and one small branch from the frame in same area. I adhered the pieces with Gina K Connect Glue to some Simon Says Stamp Peacock Cardstock covering an A2 notecard made from Neenah White Cardstock. The sentiment, from Simon's Tin,y Words Faith Stamp Set, was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Dye Ink. Finally, I filled in flower centers, berries, and circles with white jewels and sequins from Little Things by Lucy's Cards.

Finally, the winner of the Simon Says Stamp May Card Kit (as picked by my son recovering from wisdom teeth surgery) is...

Fab idea to stamp an image over two layers and love seeing a sentiment on its side instead of the usual!!
