Congrats! Please email me via the email button on my side bar with your mailing info so I can pass it on to Simon Says Stamp!

Now on to today's card which was inspired by Day 1 of Online Card Classes Watercolor for Card Makers: Exploring Mediums... I noticed after I made it just how similar it looks to the class header. :)

For this card, I took a piece of Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Cardstock and scribbled a rainbow of colour on it with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers before giving it a quick spritz of water using a Ranger Mini Mister. I was amazed by how quickly the colour spread and how vibrant the colour remained. Once dry, I adhered two layers of my hello sentiment die cut using Simon Says Stamp's Alphabet Blocks Dies. I then trimmed and matted my panel with Simon's Black Cardstock before adhering it to a Neenah Desert Storm Card that was stamped with Simon's Tiny Alphabet Background Stamp. Finally, I embellished the card with some sequins from Lucy Abram's gorgeous Shaker Selections.

You're Pretty Fantastic (Simon Says Stamp October Card Kit & GIVEAWAY)

Hi everyone!

I'm back with a final card to share using the fabulous new Simon Says Stamp October 2015 Card Kit: Here's Looking at You. Here's another look at this wonderful kit:
Here's my card:

For this card I white heat embossed the heart and chevron pattern images from Simon's I See You Stamp Set on a notecard made from Neenah Desert Storm Cardstock. I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to colour in the heart. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of the My Mind's Eye My Story Patterned Paper, cut it out, and adhered it over the heart. I then adhered a piece of Simon's Black Cardstock and a strip of My Mind's Eye My Story Patterned Paper near the bottom of the card. Finally, I die cut one of Simon's Mini Hearts, colored it with my red Zig Clean Color Real Brush Marker and adhered it to my card.

Hello I'm Here for You - Simon Says Stamp October Card Kit (& GIVEAWAY)

Hi everyone!

I'm back to share another card made using the fabulous new Simon Says Stamp October 2015 Card Kit: Here's Looking at You.

Once again this month's card kit includes Simon's new I See You Stamp Set which has a number of fun images and some great encouraging sentiments. It also includes the gorgeous My Mind's Eye My Story Journal Cards and papers from My Mind's Eye My Story 6x6 Paper Pad. Both of these items include gold foiling in the images/patterns and many of the journaling cards include diecut pieces. Finishing off the kit are Simon's beautiful Painted Hello die, a Tsukineko Brilliance Galaxy Gold Dew Drop Ink Pad, some DMC linen floss, and cardstock from Simon Says Stamp, Neenah, and My Mind's Eye.

Today's card was quick and easy to put together thanks to the beautiful My Mind's Eye My Story Journal Cards. After adhering some of the lovely My Mind's Eye My Story 6x6 Papers to my card front, I took this sweet birdie journaling card and stamped the heart and sentiment from Simon's I See You Stamp Set on it with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. I then die cut Simon's Painted Hello Die and inked it up with the Tsukineko Brilliance Galaxy Gold Dew Drop Ink. Once dried, I adhered it to the journaling card and adhered that to my card front. Finally, I rounded a couple of card edges using the We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper.
