Hi everyone!

I'm popping by to share a card using goodies from Simon Says Stamp and announce the winner of

Here's my card:

For this card I white heat embossed the Simon Says Stamp Outline Butterflies Background Stamp on Strathmore Watercolour Paper before watercolouring it with Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolours. I diecut Simon's Hooray Die from Neenah White Cardstock and adhered it with Gina K Connect Glue to some of Simon's Vellum diecut using one of Simon's Wonky Rectangles Dies. I added this to the watercolour panel, white heat embossed a sentiment from Simon's Tiny Words Stamp Set on their Black Cardstock, and added some Lucy's Card Jewels.

Super cute card! I love the little heart trails made by the bees! Bees are one of my favourites! I'm working on a bee-themed journal so I am in love with this kit! Thanks for the bee inspiration!

SSS July Card Kit: Two Punny Cards

Hi everyone!

I'm popping by to share a final two cards featuring the fun Simon Says Stamp July Card Kit: Bee Yourself!

Both of today's cards focus on the new Bee Yourself Stamp Set from the July Card Kit. The images and sentiments were stamped on Simon's 120 lb White Cardstock diecut with their Stitched Rectangle Dies and coloured with Copic Markers and a star dust glitter pen. These panels were then matted with Simon's Black or Sunshine Cardstock.

For the first card I took a piece of the Honey Bee Stamps The Bees Knees Patterned Paper and used an old splatter background stamp (any background stamp will do) with Simon's Clear Embossing Ink and Ranger's Sticky Embossing Powder. After using my heat tool I placed a piece of the Rainbow Shattered Foiling Paper over top, rubbing it with my hand to help it stick to the sticky embossing before removing the foil sheet. I assembled my card on a notecard made from Simon's Sea Glass Cardstock and anded some of the small black sequins from Simon's Buzzy Bee Sequins for the bees' eyes.

For my second card I wanted to make use of Simon's new Small Hexagon Cluster Die. I paired my second stamped, matted panel with another piece of Honey Bee Stamps The Bees Knees Patterned Paper. I cut Simon's Black Cardstock twice using the new die and positioned the pieces behind the stamped panel to creat a border. I finished the card off with some more sequins from Simon's Buzzy Bee Sequins Mix.

SSS July Card Kit: Every Little Thing Card & Giveaway

 Hi everyone!

I'm popping by to share another card featuring the fun Simon Says Stamp July Card Kit: Bee Yourself!

The 3 printed panels that come in this month's kit can be used with the foil sheets that are also part of this month's Card Kit. I don't have a foiling machine and unfortunately my laminator doesn't get hot enough to use for foiling (I tried). Fortunately the printed panels can still be used on their own to make some quick sweet cards. After trying (and failing) to get my laminator to work with the foiling technique I was left with the panel below. I diecut it with one of Simon's Stitched Rectangle Dies, coloured it with Copics, adde a few black sequins from the Simon's Buzzy Bee Sequin Mix, and adhered it to one of the Honey Bee Stamps The Bee's Knees 6x6 patterned papers before adhering it to a notecard made from Simon's 120 lb white cardstock

Simon Says Stamp July Card Kit Reveal & GIVEAWAY!

Hi everyone!

Today is reveal day for the Simon Says Stamp July Card Kit: Bee Yourself! As you can guess from the name the theme of this month's kit is bees...and it is adorable! This kit is loaded with lots of fun products: a 6x8 stamp set, die, sequins, foilable cards and foil sheets, Honey Bee Stamps patterned papers, 4 sheets of Simon's own cardstock, an envelope, and a glue sponge (I've been wanting to try this out)!

Here's the card I'm sharing today:

For this card I white heat embossed the sentiment and white heat embossed the bee-made heart repeatedly. I then applied Abandoned Coral and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Inks with an ink blending tool to cover the panel. I used a Sponge Dauber with Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink to fill in the hearts before trimming the panel down to 5"x 3.75". I adhered it to a piece of Simon's Black Cardstock before adding to the front of a notecard I made from Simon's 120 lb white cardstock. I finished the card off with some sequins from Simon's Buzzy Bee Sequin Mix.

Simon Says Stamp Rest and Refresh Release

Hi everyone,

Today is reveal day for the Simon Says Stamp Rest and Refresh Release

I'm spying a lot of summer relaxation and encouragement-themed stamps, dies, prints, stencils, and sequins here! I know many of us could really use some of both right now.

I used the new Filigree Flower Die to make today's card, inspired by a hexagon blanket I'm currently crocheting.

Here's my inspiration:

...and here's my card:

I diecut the flower 7 times on a piece of Neenah White Cardstock, removed all the little bits, and backed each flower with a different colour of Simon Says Stamp Cardstock which I diecut with one of Simon's Nested Cricles Dies. I adhered the panel to a notecard before diecutting a SSS Nested Banner Die and SSS Hooray sentiment to add to my card along with some sequins from Little Things by Lucy's Cards.

That's it for me today! I hope you enjoy this release as much as I do!
