Altenew 3D Ornament Die Wall Art

Hi everyone,

I'm stopping by today to share some wall art I made for our family room.

I bought a couple of large canvases at our dollar store and used the larger sizes from the Altenew 3D Ornament Dies with scraps of coloured and white cardstock to create this piece. I used Gina K Connect Glue (I went through a few tubes) to adhere the pieces to the canvas.

SSS Glittery Lotus Birthday & September Card Kit Winner!

Hi everyone!

I'm popping by to share a soft yet glittery birthday card featuring the Simon Says Stamp Lotus Frame Die, Round and Round Background Stamp, and Tiny Words Birthday Stamp Set. I'll also be sharing the winner of the Simon Says Stamp September Card Kit!

For today's card I used Simon's Clear Embossing Ink with their Round and Round Background Stamp to create a tone on tone background.on Simon's Cotton Candy Cardstock. I diecut the Lotus Frame Die from white cardstock as well as Simon's Surf Blue Cardstock piecing the two together on some Be Creative Tape while leaving the insides of the flowers exposed so I could cover them with Tim Holtz Vintage Platinum Distress Glitter Dust. I adhered this to the card front with foam tape. The sentiment from Simon's Tiny Words Birthday Stamp Set was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink on a piece of Neenah Desert Storm Cardstock that had been diecut with one of Simon's Nested Banners Dies. I finished the card off with some Simon Says Stamp Treasure Chest Sequins.

SSS September Card Kit: Little Birdies

Hi everyone!

I'm stopping by to share a final card featuring the Simon Says Stamp September Card Kit: Look for the Rainbows.

Here it is:

I really wanted to use more of the beautiful American Crafts Vicki Boutin Color Kaleidoscope Patterned Paper along wih the Tim Holtz Metallic Confections Kraft Cardstock and so I did what I often do in that case and die cut a bunch of small circles using Simon's Nested Circles Dies. I adhered them to my card front in rainbowish order before stamping each of the birds from the Look for the Rainbows Stamp Set with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. I stamped the sentiment on a strip of Audrey Blue Cardstock and added it to the card along with Nuvo Crystal Gems and American Crafts Shimelle Box of Crayons Enamel Dots.

SSS September 2019 Card Kit Reveal and GIVEAWAY!

Here's the card I'm sharing today featuring the gorgeous flowers from the new Simon Says Stamp Look for the Rainbows Stamp Set:

I stamped the flowers and stems on Simon's Island Blue Cardstock with Simon's White Pigment Ink before colouring them with Prismacolor Pencils. I diecut the panel with the largest of Simon's Wonky Rectangle Dies and adhered it to a notecard made from Simon's 120 lb White Cardstock. I dry embossed a strip of Simon's Audrey Blue Cardstock in the Tim Holtz Kaleidoscope Texture Fades Embossing Folder and adhered it to the card before adding a stamped sentiment and Nuvo Crystal Gems.

SSS Diecut Floral Thank You

Hi everyone!

I'm popping by to share a card featuring the beautiful Simon Says Stamp Outline Floral Frame Die paired with a sentiment from Simon's Greetings Mix 1 Stamp Set.

I diecut the Outline Floral Frame Die from both Neenah White Cardstock and Simon's Audrey Blue Cardstock, piecing them together so the Audrey Blue Cardstock made the background. I then coloured the flowers, leaves, and berries with Copic Markers before popping them into place too. The sentiment was white heat embossed and I finished things off with some Jewels and Sequins from Little Things by Lucy's Cards.

SSS Sending Sunshine

Hi everyone!

Happy Monday! I hope you're having a wonderful day! Here in Canada we're celebrating a long weekend and are about halfway done our summer break. I'm trying to look at it as the cup being half full instead of half empty. ;)

In that light I thought I'd share a flowery card with you all today featuring the beautiful Simon Says Stamp Gerbera Daisy Background Stamp which I stamped with MFT Black Licorice Hybrid Ink onto Neenah White Cardstock and coloured with Copic Markers. 

I matted the coloured panel with more of the white cardstock before adhering it to some orange glimmery cardstock I had in my stash. The sentiment (from Simon's Greetings Mix 1 Stamp Set) was stamped with both Simon's Wisteria and Pale Blush Pink Inks to get just the right colour I was looking for. Using the MISTI made this super easy. I matted this with a piece of Simon's Black Cardstock before adding to my card.
