I'm back with another card featuring the sweet Simon Says Stamp September Card Kit.
This Doodlebug Fairytale Birthday unicorn paper is the most adorable thing! I just had to let it take center stage on this card. *Note: Now that the Card Kit is live I'm not seeing this particular piece of patterned paper included. If it isn't, I think the clouds, balloons, rainbows, or the mixed image pattern would all work just as well for this design.
I die cut a piece of Simon's 120 lb Cardstock with one of their Stitched Rectangle Dies and used my MISTI and various colours of Simon's Dye Ink to create my Happy Birthday background. I'll let you in on a secret... I had an oops and didn't shift the panel correctly at one point. Rather then start over, I matted a sentiment strip from the Doodlebug Fairytale Birthday papers with Audrey Blue Cardstock and used it to cover my mistake. I added some Doodlebug Rainbow Heart Sprinkles and dots from their Sweet Treat Sprinkles and adhered the finished panel to my card with Foam Tape.
