Hi everyone!
I'm excited to be guest designing for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog this month! If you've been visiting me for a while you may remember that 5 years ago I was a part of this wonderful team. I have fond memories and was tickled when Lols asked if I'd be their guest designer for September.
That being said...
This week's challenge is STAMP IT in celebration of Stamptember and the designers will be featuring product from the new Simon Says Stamp Stamptember Release. All you need to do to participate is submit a new project with stamping on it. Please visit the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog for all the details and to submit your entries.
One randomly choosen winner will receive a $50 Gift Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Store.
For this week's challenge I'm using Simon's new Beautiful Flowers 2 Stamps and Dies.
First I created an alcohol ink background, eyeballing where to put the colours to coordinate with the flowers and leaves. Once dry I white heat embossed the largest floral image over top and diecut it with the coordinating die. I adhered this piece to some Simon Says Stamp Slate Cardstock, white heat embossed the sentiment, and added some gorgeous Studio Katia Iridescent Bubbles.

Such a beauty, Sarah!
Stunning card! Can you tell me what type of cs you used to create the original alcohol ink background? I've never created a background to fit a stamp.

Sarah this is just beautiful! Love it!
Hi Sarah!! I love your work. This is stunning!! I’ve never tried heat embossing over alcohol inks before. Then again, I’ve only played with alcohol inks a hand full of times... I think I might have to give it a try!! The colors are just gorgeous!! And those iridescent bubbles coordinate perfectly. I can’t wait to see what else you create this month ~
