Hi everyone!
I'm popping by to share a set of 15 invitations I made recently for my mother-in-law. When making large sets like this I like to keep the design fairly simple and also flat (but interesting) knowing they'll be going in the mail.
I started with 5.5" x 4.25" pieces of Strathmore Watercolour Paper and painted each one with various blues and greens. Once dry, I diecut each with one of the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectange Dies and adhered them to notecards made from Neenah 110 lb White Cardstock. I white heat embossed the sentiments from Simon's Make An Invitation Stamp Set (unfortunately now retired) on Simon's Black Cardstock. Finally, I white heat embossed some circles from Simon's Blooming Hope Stamp Set to act as embellishments, adding interest without bulk.
Here's a closer look at each card:
I haven't heard back from Torrie yet who won the April Card Kit... Torrie? If I don't heard from her this week I'll be picking a new winner.

I don't have a lot of extra time to make cards these days amd this is such a good idea. I need to go through my stash and look for premade elements. Super cute cards!
Thanks for stopping by!
