Simon Says Stamp September 2014 Card Kit (and GIVEAWAY!!!)

Today is the 14th and you know what that means! Reveal day for the newest Simon Says Stamp Monthly Card Kit! This month's card kit is called Life is a Storybook and it is fabulous! Take a look... 

Awesome, right? I can't get over all the wonderful images in the Simon Says Stamp To Thine Own Shelf stamp set!

Here's the first card I'm sharing using this fabulous card kit:

The round October Afternoon image stickers made me think of the Simon Says Stamp Tri Circle Die and so I pulled that out of my stash to make a top-folded window card. The stickers fit perfectly inside the windows. For the bottom window I die cut a piece of the October Afternoon Public Library patterned paper using the same Tri Circle Die.

I then die cut some Neenah Cream Cardstock using one of Simon Says Stamp's Tilted Banner Dies, stamped my sentiment and adhered the edges of the banner over the bottom window. I then trimmed the left side of my card so it would still fix in a standard A2 envelope with the banner hanging over the right edge. Finally, I added a few strips of of the October Afternoon papers to the left edge of my card.
