Simon Says Stamp Making Spirits Bright Release!

Hi everyone!

Today is release day for Simon Says Stamp's Making Spirits Bright collection! You can find the entire release HERE. My favourites are sentiment dies (rejoice, wise men still seek him, and o holy night), the snowman and reindeer picture book dies, and the Center Cut Kaleidoscope stamp.

Simon sent me a few of the new goodies to play with and I've had a chance to make a couple of cards.

For my first card, I diecut some Neenah White Cardstock using one of Simon's Wonky Rectangles Dies. I ink blended some Distress Oxide Inks (listed in the supply list below) and splattered some water on top with a paint brush, picking up the water drops with a paper towel. The 'o holy night' was diecut from Silver Glitter Cardstock and the frame from white cardstock. The stars are from Lucy's Cards. The finished panel was adhered to a piece of Simon's black cardstock and added to a card front.

Here's my second card:

For my second card, I white heat embossed the three words onto Neenah Desert Storm Cardstock. Using Leaf Green Cardstock I die cut a number of the pine needles with the Pine Needle Trio Dies. I used Elmer's Spray adhesive to adhere the pine needles and added some beautiful accents from Lucy's Cards Red Ring Sequin Mix.
