Simon Says Stamp October Card Kit Reveal and GIVEAWAY!

Hi everyone!

Today is reveal day for the Simon Says Stamp October 2015 Card Kit: Here's Looking at You and this one is definitely a new favourite!

This month's fabulous card kit includes Simon's new I See You Stamp Set which has a number of fun images and some great encouraging sentiments. It also includes the gorgeous My Mind's Eye My Story Journal Cards and papers from My Mind's Eye My Story 6x6 Paper Pad. Both of these items include gold foiling in the images/patterns and many of the journaling cards include diecut pieces. Finishing off the kit are Simon's beautiful Painted Hello die, a Tsukineko Brilliance Galaxy Gold Dew Drop Ink Pad, some DMC linen floss, and cardstock from Simon Says Stamp, Neenah, and My Mind's Eye.

Here's the card I'm sharing today:

For this card I started by diecutting the beautiful foiled hearts patterned paper using the rectangle die from Simon's Bundle of Stitches Dies. I adhered it to a card base made from Simon's Black Cardstock. I then took a piece of the DMC linen floss and coloured it with my R29 Lipstick Red Copic Marker. Once I was sure it was dry, I tied it around the jar-shaped My Mind's Eye My Story Journal Card and adhered it to my card with some Best Creation Big Squares Foam Adhesive. I die cut a piece of the birch tree patterned paper using one of Simon's Large Hearts Die, inked the edges with Brilliance Galaxy Gold Dew Drop Ink Pad, stamped the sentiment and heart from Simon's I See You Stamp Set using Simon's Hollyhock Dye Ink, and adhered it the card.

Simon Says Stamp/ Lawn Fawn Merry Christmouse Stamps

Hi everyone!

I'm popping by to share a couple of quick cards I made using the new exclusive stamp set made by Lawn Fawn in conjunction with Simon Says Stamp in celebration of STAMPtember. This adorable stamp set is called Merry Christmouse and it has the cutest little mice and sentiments in it. They also came out with matching dies which have already sold out so if you're interested in these fun stamps I wouldn't wait too long.

Simon Says Stamp Happy Birthday Shaker Card

Hi everyone!

Stamptember-600x600

I'm back to share a card I made last week using the fun Happy Birthday Circle Dies from Simon's new STAMPtember release

Like so many of the dies from this release this one screams shaker card. I die cut the image and used
Ranger's Mini Ink Blending Tool to add some Milled Lavender Distress Ink to the top before removing all the negative pieces. (It's such a delicate die that I didn't want it to tear at all). I then adhered the die cut to a piece of Hero Arts Acetate Notecard using Ranger's Mini Multi Medium Matte Adhesive with the tip from a Quilled Creations Precision Tip Applicator Bottle. I did some more diecutting using the rectangle die from Simon's Bundle of Stitches Dies and Wavy Scallop Stitches Dies, inlaying all the pieces. The panel was backed with White Fun Foam that had the Happy Birthday Circle Die cut out of it, and Lucy Abrams gorgeous Vintage Lilac Shaker Selections were added before closing up the panel and adhering it to a notecard.

Supplies:

Finally, today is sweet (Simon owner) Heidi's birthday so if you place an order today maybe leave a birthday greeting in the notes field? :)

That's it for me today. I hope you all have a fabulous day!
