Hero Arts Snowflake Die Card

Hi everyone!

Before I talk about today's card I just wanted to mention that I forgot to post a giveaway for a Simon Says Stamp October Card Kit last week...so, I went ahead a picked a winner from the comments that were left. Surprise!!! :)

The winner is:

Another beautiful card! You are rocking this kit!
Congrats, Jingle! Send me an email through the button on the side bar with your shipping info and I'll pass it on to Heidi and the crew at Simon Says Stamp! :)

Welcome back to Hero Arts week! This week I'm featuring cards made using some new products from my favourite stamp company, Hero Arts! If you missed yesterday's post you can scroll down to see it. :)

ETA: I'm having a little giveaway too!

I've been wanting to do a Hero Arts giveaway this week but have been trying to decide exactly how I wanted to do it. Seeing that I've also just reached 100 followers with my 'new' blog has given me the extra push to figure it out. :) I've decided that on Monday, October 15th I'll post ONE winner who can choose TWO Hero Arts Stamps of their liking (either cling, clear, or 1 of each). I'll order them through Simon Says Stamp and have them sent out to the winner. :) Sound good? All you have to do is leave a comment on one of my Hero Arts posts this week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday. I would also appreciate it if you followed my blog if you aren't already but I won't make you. ;) All comments left before midnight EST Sunday, October 14th are eligible.

Today's card is a shaped card! I LOVE making shaped cards! This one features Hero Arts new Dotted Snowflake cling stamp, Big and Small Snowflakes dies, Neon Blue dye ink, and Believe clear stamp set.

I LOVE the huge size of the large snowflake. Just right for shaped cards. :)

Tomorrow I have another Christmas card to share. This time for the new Simon Says Stamp Challenge. It does use a sentiment from Hero Arts but isn't really part of my Hero Arts week. ;) Thursday and Friday are all about Hero Arts though. I'll hope you'll be back for all 3 days. :)

Here's what I used to make today's card:

I LOVE this card, Sarah! The shape, the colours(!), the beautiful snowflake stamp and the gorgeous ribbon - so beautiful and fun! And I'm loving your Hero Arts week :) After seeing this card, I'm tempted to get some of their stamp/die combos and the neon inks and papers. So fun!!! I always love your shaped cards - do you think you could show a picture of what they look like on the inside? Or explain how you make them...do you just glue the 2 die cut pieces together at the top, or create a tab to connect them? I know you're a busy homeschooling mama, so no rush, but I'd love to know how you create those beautiful cards! Thanks, Sarah! Looking forward to seeing the rest of your creations this week!
