I'm back! I hope you all had a great weekend. I can't believe summer is winding down and September will be here in no time. Speaking of September, Simon Says Stamp has released their September Card Kit which is called "You're Amazing" and this week I'll be sharing some cards I've made with it. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this month's kit. It features one of my very favourite 6x6 paper pads by My Mind's Eye, my favourite May Arts twine, yummy washi tape, and an awesome little chalk board which I used in today's card:
This card came together pretty quickly. I love the little chalk board and decided to white heat emboss some of the images from the Simon Says Stamp 'Shoot for the Stars' clear stamp set on it. Paired with the sentiment below I think it would make a great card for a student to give to their teacher the first day of school. :)
Here's what I used to make today's card:
I'll be sharing 2 more cards this week using this fabulous kit: tomorrow (Tuesday) and Friday. Wednesday will be my regular Simon Says Stamp Challenge post and on Thursday I have a few VERY special guests who will be taking over for a blog hop (with a prize involved). ;)
Speaking of prizes... Heidi has again generously offered to let me do a give a way! Up for grabs is the Simon Says Stamp September Card Kit. Yay!:) All comments left on today's post, Tuesday's post or Friday's post will be entered into the draw.
FINALLY, I've picked a winner for the Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Dies giveaway from last week and the winner is:

Love the patterned paper and that you made a window!
